SPIRIT VR: CONFIDENCE

Confidence

Confidence is one of the 3 apps in Scenegraph Studio's SpiritVR suite and one of the primary projects that I have been involved in as a Junior Visual Content Creator for the studio.

SpiritVR Confidence allows users to practice their public speaking skills in a host of digital VR environments.

As with SpiritVR Sensory (see below), Confidence was being upgraded from running on Unreal Engine 4 to Unreal Engine 5.

I designed and created a new speakers podium, from which users can control their speaking environment. I 3D modelled the podium and streamlined the button system that was set up in version 1 of the app.

Making use of the extra oomph provided by Meta's newer Quest 3 headsets, I was involved in the visual overhaul of the app environments.

My main task was to take the crowds that users talk to (which were completely static) and bring them to life by adding subtle idle animations, all whilst keeping the app running at a smooth 70+ FPS.

SPIRIT VR: SENSORY

Sensory

My first project as Junior Visual Content Creator for Scenegraph Studios was to create new content for SpiritVR Sesnory. A VR sensory room app for neurodivergent users.

I created 3 new colour coded 'Seeker' sensory rooms to expand on the 2 rooms originally created for Version 1 of the app. I created design documents to inform the creation of the new rooms and the interactive elements within them, drafted colour schemes, and created new 3D models as needed.
